Let us learn how to create a project in this tutorial.

Step 1: Go to the Menu Bar and click New, to add a new project.

Step 2: In the next screen, a dialog box will be displayed where you need to select the EPS by clicking on the browse button.

Step 3: You need to Name your project here.

Step 4: Here, you can mention the Planned Start date for the new project. You can also mention the Must Finish by Date, but which will be treated as a constraint.

Step 5: You can browse and assign the responsible manager from the OBS that you have developed in the Primavera in the earlier tutorial.

Step 6: Assign the rate types for the pricing of all resources that you would like to use for calculations.

Step 7: Now in the architect window, you can create a project plan from one or more methodologies. Through the architect, you can use the pre-defined template

Step 8: Finally in the last screen, you will receive a congratulatory message.

There by, you can see the newly added project visible in the project explorer window. And at the bottom portion of the window, you can see the detail additional information of all the project related tasks.
